About the Book: In my travels across the country, the question asked most frequently is how I went from being a fundamentalist preacher to being a developer of healing techniques using tuning forks. Book Preview: I stand here listening to the sounds of meditative music floating from the speakers of the CD player while the aroma of essential oils and incense permeate my senses. I am aware that I am standing over someone on a massage table in need of healing. I cannot help but reflect on my journey – from the southern gospel piano player, singer, and fundamentalist preacher of my youth who held a bible and prayed to Jesus, to the energy worker who holds a tuning fork for the same purpose of healing through aligning energies and balancing chakras.

As we move from belief in genetic disposition and concepts like Body, Soul, and Spirit, dividing us into fragmented beings, we move beyond physical diagnosis into the new area of quantum physics. In this new area, where consciousness is seen as a Unified Field and where Everything is Everything Else, there are no boundaries. There is no “this” or “that,” no “you” or “me.” It is a pure Field of Awareness. My own perception has now changed from genetics to energetics. I now realize that we are not meant to ignore our physiology, but rather that it is a pathway to learn to tune our body and get it operating at the specific frequencies that each part requires.

As one of the original developers of techniques utilizing therapeutic tuning forks “tuned” to the same frequencies as the ancient Solfeggio tones, my dedication, commitment and belief in the power of these ancient frequencies has led me to the development and founding of SomaEnergetics. Much thought went into this name, combining the Greek word soma, meaning “body”, with energetics, to capture in one word the wholistic idea of the body as a vibrant energy field.
